Jodi Arias - Her Words Can't Physically Ring True

I was watching some highlights from the Jodi Arias trial from this week.  There are a couple of lines of testimony I want to focus on. What I'm focusing on is what she says...word for word.  What I'm finding out is that it is an either/or issue or an issue that these things can't possibly have happened the way Jodi says.

Describing the scene that lead up to the alleged attack, Jodi testifies :

"...as I was going to delete the photos, as I move the camera it slips out of my hand. And I went to...it didn't like fall right away...I kind of caught it...and then...I...it fell..I caught it like football...it kind of bounced and I almost caught it, but I didn't catch it and it landed on the mat."

One doesn't need to be a rocket scientist to realize Jodi is lying. She's lying because if it were the truth, there wouldn't be so many stutters. She caught it, she almost caught it, she didn't catch it. Those are three different versions. It doesn't mesh. It's almost as if we watched try and figure out which way sounded more believable...even though she's had years to try and figure that out.

Another part of her testimony I am concerned about it when she's describing shooting Travis. While I don't believe that she didn't intentionally fire the gun at Travis...it's how she says it happened.

Jodi states that while she was running from a naked and wet Travis through his bedroom....

"...so I ran into the closet and I slammed the door. I intended to run to the opposite end of the door because it has another exit. And as soon as I got in there and began to run, I remembered where he kept a gun and I grabbed it. I jumped up on the shelf, he kept it on the very top, I grabbed it and then I run out the other door as he was opening the door and he ran, chasing me and I turned around and pointed it at him, so that he would stop chasing me..."    "he just kept running..like a linebacker he got low and grabbed my waist, but before he did that as he was lunging at me the gun went off....it just went off and he lunged at me and we fell really hard against the tile of the other wall like kind of near the scales, or whatever those things are. So at this point, I didn't even know if he had been shot, I didn't see anything different he was just, we were struggling and wrestling, he's a wrestler, he had wrestled in high school and he was getting on top of me and I didn't want him to get on top of me because when he had done that in the past I can't get out of those holds that he gets, so he's grabbing at my clothes and I got up and he's just screaming angry and after I broke away from him he said, "Fuckin' kill you bitch"

OK. Let's take a breath to let this all sink in. Firstly, we are to believe that Travis wanted to kill her for dropping his camera. Secondly, we are to believe that in barely two minutes (according to the times on the stamped photos from Travis' camera) all the above happened. From 5:30pm to 5:32pm.

Thanks to @stark3923

Now, let's get to the gun. Jodi says she remembers Travis had one...even though all of his close friends have said he never had one. In fact, when Travis would go shooting with his friends, he always had to borrow a gun. Just one more thing that Jodi says as fact that no one can find ANY proof of.  She says the gun was on the TOP shelf in his closet...and she 'jumped' and grabbed it. While in the closet (mind you this is all happening very fast) Jodi slammed the door (didn't LOCK it, just slammed it), jumped to the top shelf, ran out and pointed it at him.

She did say that she ran out of the opposite door in the closet as Travis was coming in the door she had just slammed. How long does it take to open a door you were going to walk through anyway? A nanosecond? Yet, Jodi had time, with her short stature, to JUMP to the TOP shelf, grab a gun, open the other door and run out.  Again, I'm not buying it.

*youtube*

I've heard that the gunshot wound to Travis would have at least temporarily disabled him, hence there would be no lunging afterward to Jodi. But let's get to the lunging...Jodi said he got low and GRABBED her waist. But before he GRABBED her waist the gun went off....then he fell on her. So did he grab her waist or didn't he. She talks in future tense about things that seemed to never happen. Again, pattern of lies.

Remember in Jodi's interrogation where she told Det. Flores that she did not kill Travis? She also said IF...IF she killed him, she would have to shoot him.  An ounce of truth always accompanied by a ton of bull. She did kill him. She did shoot him. We have that proof. She did have sex with him. We have that proof. She did pose for nude photos. We have that proof.  Although the proof of her disgusting meat curtains dangling for all the world to see has been very disturbing to see.

What we DON'T have proof of is abuse. We don't have one shred of evidence that Travis ever hit her, beat her, slapped her or choked her. In my opinion, this means it never happened. Jodi has been caught in several lies and her smugness (as a result of her being a sociopath) in court is a slap in the face to Travis' family and friends.

So, it's Saturday and we have to wait until Monday for Juan Martinez to continue his cross of Jodi. I for one cannot wait to see what other lies we find... Travis needs justice and Jodi needs to burn for her sick and twisted mind.

Also, Jodi told Det. Flores Travis did not have a gun.

Oh, I have yet to do a side by side comparison of her first story, her second story and her testimony! lol

Guessing it's a typo in your next to last paragraph. Did you mean slapped her or choked her instead of what's written?

Thanks Tom! Whew! I blew this post in a whirlwind! Good catch! I corrected it. I can't believe I made that mistake!

Excellent analysis! I'm fairly certain Jodi claims to have placed her foot on the edge of the first shelf in the closet and yet there is nothing disturbed on any of the shelves. In addition, are we to believe that this allegedly enraged man who is in fairly great shape after following a workout regimen for several months was unable to catch Jodi and get her under his control? Impossible! I find it interesting that even if we take Jodi's words at face value (though they are patently false), isn't it evident that once she is holding loaded weapon and pointing it at Travis, that he then, at this point, becomes the one who is in self-defense? He has two choices...turn his back to a woman holding a gun to him or lunge at her in an attempt to disarm her. I do not believe for one second that this man was moved to murder Jodi over a dropped camera...especially in light of the fact that he was not angry in the least about the fact that she destroyed the transmision in his BMW.
